Something that I have always loved doing is taking walks in nature. Whether it be through a park, new neighborhood, college campuses, or trails, I always enjoy the fresh air and the scenery.
The very first photo is one taken of the New York Institute of Technology campus. While walking through the campus, I came across this lovely set up for students to have lunch, take a break or study and knew it was the perfect spot to take a picture!
The second photo is of a neighborhood that I recently visited with a friend. While walking through the neighborhood, we noticed the beautiful colors of the trees and I took a photo to capture the beauty.
The third photo is one of a park that I walked at recently. This park has a walking trail that is usually very busy and that adds to appeal. There are always friendly bike-riders, skate boarders or hikers using the trail to get from section to section, striking up friendly conversation along the way!
The fourth photo is another of a neighborhood with beautiful Fall foliage. I took this picture at a particular angle to capture the tree leaves wrapping around the fence and the branches leaning over the lower side of a house. It looks almost like a picture you would come across in a gardening magazine.
The fifth photo is one from a walk around Hofstra University’s campus. While attending a meeting for work, on our lunch break I decided to take a mini tour around the campus. The campus was very spacious and had a lot of tulips which Hofstra is very well known for. The meeting was during their annual tulip festival!
The last photo is another of New York Institute of Technology’s campus. This campus is quite big! This specific photo is of the trail leading to a popular wedding venue that is on the campus. The trail is quite long and the venue is a bit away from the school section of the campus, but I assume that this is done intentionally to avoid any mishaps on someone’s special day!
I hope you enjoyed reading about one of my favorite things!
